haha - I have friends who have kids, I understand the time aspect.

However I don't understand this sort of thing...

"they force you to watch things like BGT, X-Factor etc...."

How does that work?

There's a fair bit of that on here with things like "The mrs made me watch it, the mrs made me go etc etc"
