As i understand it, that is our current sqaud.
What is it about that group that makes you think we have any chance at all of winning league 1?

Ambition is fine, realism is much much better.
That lot isn't going to get us promoted.
With some key, useful additions they MAY get us into the top 6. If we are lucky.

This coming season is about halting the slide. We need to stabalise in order to start rebuilding.

Anyone expecting anything else is going to be in for a massive disappointment, and needs to change their expectations.

I don't think anyone is saying that's ok. We shouldn't be in this position, but we are, and we need to accept that.
How you translate that into messages to the board is up to you.
However, the football side of things is going to struggle, and that will only be made worse if we have a group of fans expecting us to win the league.
