The difference between the treatment at school between John and the young kid

was amazing.

Mind you, at the young kid's school, when he was ticcing in class, you could see all the other kids trying desperately to keep it together in front of the cameras, and not laugh.

Interesting, I found, that the kid appears to be a talented drummer. Oliver Sacks tells a story in his book The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat about a patient of his with Tourette's who was a talented jazz drummer. However the medication he was given to keep his tics under control completely ruined his rhythm, and spoiled his drumming. So he compromised by taking the meds during the week, but not during the weekend allowing his tourette's to kick in and inspire him.

Funny ole thing the brain, entut?

Entut tho?
