I don't see why or how he demonstrated that

"what's raised probably won't make much difference"

in the end player budget is all there is for a football club, really, apart from overheads. I don't see why us raising extra money now would raise overheads at all. So fundamentally, any extra money raised will go, one-for-one, into higher player budget.
