Can I try and explain a couple of things to you?

Having a supporter on the board would NOT have stopped the appointment of Peter Grant.
Having a supporter on the board would NOT have stopped the release clauses being inserted into the contracts of Dickson & Earnie.
Having a supporter on the board would NOT have stopped GR signing Lupoli, or Koroma, or the injury to Dejan.
And finally, having a supporter on the board is ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY NO GUARANTEE that your viewpoint is going to be put forward (the SCG is a fine example of supporter-involvement being PR spin and eff-all else.)
