I think the key is ownership

Killen - s**t and not ours so get rid of him. Came to play football, wasn't going to, so why on earth pay to keep him in a hotel, and have him sulking becuase he's here to play and isn't.
Cureton - s**t and ours, so we can't send him off anywhere really. Plus, the guy has a great attitude, and is unlikely to mope, much more likley to try and impress in training.
