It'd have been a heck of a coup. I've often thought the reason why other, much bigger clubs have overlooked him is the way he doesn't blow his own trumpet, has been depicted as a footballing nomad and in his manner, is something of a throwback. For a Championship club to have appointed him would've been remarkable.
