We had a pathetic squad......... he improved it into a mediocre one!

Enough to stay up when we look buried.

Of all the players he shipped out of the club, how many went on to do any good?
Virtually nobody. That was some good work IMHO.

The bad, was the second season.
Was unlucky but also made some serious errors in judgement.
(cureton to barnsley, falling out with players and the fans ect ect)
We never had a decent striker apart from Lita.
And both his first choice CBs ended up being injured.

I think if he would have won just a few more matches (mid table mediocrity) he would still be here IMHO.
