Oh, they're not *all* for copyright theft.

There's one big one, UKNova, which operates entirely within the law for sharing UK-produced TV shows. Anything which is commercially available on any format is not allowed. Lots of ex-pats use it for keeping up with UK TV. The soaps are very popular.

I used to use it sometimes when Mrs AB missed one of her shows, but that's all stopped since we got Sky+.
