can you do that for football boots? I get a lot of knee/ankle twinges these days

It could be my habit of buying a pair of ?20 boots at the start of each season, that normally need replacing for the next year, isn't doing me any favours.

Thing is, i keep thinking about stopping, so i'm reluctant to spash out on boots!
