I'm from Ipswich and moved to London 26 years ago, but my local team will always be Ipswich and I'll always support them no matter how many Kevin Lisbies they employ. If you abandoned Arsenal and took up with Ipswich just because you moved an hour up the A12 then you're not a football supporter, just a middle class member of the prawn sandwich brigade that Keano rightly despises. No doubt it's down to "fans" like you that Portman Road has been so quiet and uninspiring in recent years. Match of The Day and the Premiership really are the best place for you: predictable, bland expense account, corporate hospitality football; no ups and downs, no tears but no joy either.
Oh and by the way, you don't get the Norwich thing do you? It's BECAUSE Norwich is the cultural centre of East Anglia and Ipswich is one of the most unattractive places in the south that we hate them so. Even so, many if not most of us were sad to see them go down: when all's said and done they are real fans of a real club just like us and not like you.
