I don't know if this has been mentioned but....

Yesterdays referee was from the Isle of Wight.
I was under the impression that local referees were not allowed to referee matches.
You can't get more local than that, as the fact that I had to share the ferry with a boatload of smug Saints fans will testify.
Perhaps this explains his curiously one sided display.
