I thought your post was excellent too.

Last night's meeting was purely something with which NCISA could test the water, and establish what the fans thought. It's basically impossible for a large scale meeting to agree a grand strategy: you'll always get contradictory voices and so on. NCISA will issue a press release in the next few days, discuss the way forward between themselves (their committee, I mean), and send their findings to the board.

Beyond that, the end goal as I see it is for Smith and Jones to either shape up or ship out. It's extremely difficult to start a Delia Out campaign without a viable alternative publicly making themselves known: hence the impasse which you and I both find so frustrating. It'll also come down to how we fare next season. If there are clear signs of progress, all well and good; if there aren't, I'm certain calls will start for fans not to renew.

It's all going to take considerable time - but last night's meeting at least demonstrated a will. Many a time, I've doubted whether that even existed: but it quite clearly does, among people who are the exact opposite of your stereotypical extremists and rabble rousers.
