Delia was digging her heels in and refusing to sell but they have made it pretty clear they (D/MWJ) want to sell.

I think its pretty obvious that of the two choices......
Evil or Naive........ they are the latter.

They have pumped a lot of money into the club and have returned nothing.

If they end up sellling they will almost certainly take a big loss on their investment.
