surely they should have taken the possibility that we would be relegated into consideration and made plans for when we have to launch another promotion challenge to get us back up. This would involve giving the manager a kitty (not a huge one) to enable him to bring in the players that he needs to do the job. They have given him nothing. Why? I question whether the board are serious about gaining promtion.

Palace have spent a bit and contrary to popular beleive i think they spent pretty much the same as us when they were in the Prem. 1.2million of Ward and what 750K for Macken. So roughly 2 million. 2 million woudl make quite a bit of difference to Nigels plans in the transfer market.
