I don't really understand what most posts on here are on about at the moment

We are financially screwed.

We have debts that we struggled to service on championship income, never mind League 1.

There's a recession on.

Our main advertisers, creditors, sponsors and banks must all be queuing up at the exit door.

No investor with any sanity at all would want to touch us right now. Any money you put in at the moment would disappear to pay off the creditors the moment we go into administration.

Delia must be fighting tooth and nail to stop the club going under. The hard question for her must be how much more cash she puts in before she decides to say no more.

At which point we call in the administrators.

All this is depressing, but it's the reality.

And yet on here?

All I read is that we should get 'new investors' in.
We should have brought in a new manager - someone who's succeeded elsewhere.
Some people even suggesting we should be holding on to our players, rather than getting whatever cash we can for them.

It's like reading about a parallel universe. Or a different club.
