I do think the board needs some new brains and more money

The first would hopefully bring the latter. The recent history of bad decisions is without question.

BUT so much of our past fortune has been founded on decisions proving to be fortunate - the appointment of Walker (the first time, and he was harshly treated the second time by Delia, I know) as one example.

I feel a lot also has to do with the academy. Are we not rather hamstrung by being part of that system? Our past sources of players that we've been able to play or sell came from regions like Bristol and South Wales - now we can only use East Anglia as a resource.

The press conference to announce Gunn can hardly have been fun, but then again, having just been relegated that wouldn't really be a surprise.

I don't know the answer, but maybe the fatalist in me thinks that we're due a turnaround at some point. Mind you, Norwich used to have a good speedway team...
