Would MWJ have bigged Crooky up in the conference as "an outstanding young coach" if the inference wasn't that they're looking to offer him the job once BG makes his position untenable?

Wouldn't it make some sort of crazy sense that a condition of Gunny getting the job was that he let Crook have some further experience of coaching/management?

Or am I just being a t**t?
