I think it could. My first reaction was "the last thing you need is a back-seat driver", but Coppell's highly intelligent, and should be aware of the dangers. He also obviously loves football, but is not best suited to football management because he can't accept failure at that level, whereas his players (and players generally) are all too happy to accept it. I'd love him here in some role, as CEO, or even Chairman.
