When a manager starts doubting the import of fans opinions he's always in trouble.
Every single manager that's taken on the fans, at any club, has eventually lost.
Its nigh on impossible to suceed if those in the stands are not behind you, and therfore behind the team, willing them on.

I've seen little in the last 19 games to suggest he should get another crack.
Lets not forget Charlton happened on his watch. He should be able to either ensure the 11 he puts out will give it their all, or be able to spot which players won't and therefore not risk them.
