Butterworth is also on a 2 yr contract

So that leaves 2 options for the board (whoever is left on it)...

1) Keep Gunn alongside Crook and Butts

2) Bring in a new manager who is hapy to work alongside Crook and Butts. Robins or Tilson perhaps?

Bringing in a brand new manager and assistants is not an option. In fairness, I wouldnt want that either as we need at least some continuation (at least on the coaching side) from this failed season. We need at least the coaches or manager to know who had been crap, who needs replacing and who the youngsters are coming through and likely to figure large next season.

My choice? Bring in Robins or Tilson to work alongside Crook and Butts. Move Gunny upstairs to be the 'football person' working between the board and the new manager, and being the media face for the football club (replacing Munby or Doncaster who weree the usual 2 who always faced up to the camera).
