Pretty good. Half-marathon a couple of weeks ago, and managed 2:18 when I thought

it would be more like 2:30 - 2:45 due to not being properly prepared for the half-marathon distance. So I was properly chuffed with that.

10k is a different animal, though, I do 10k in training all the time.

Did just over 10k last night in bang-on an hour, and that was over my hilly North-Sheffield 10k route (450ft of total elevation). Just checked the Great Mancs Run route, and it is as flat as a pancake, relatively. Something like 80ft of total elevation.

So with the lack of hills, which is where I really slow down, and the race-day atmosphere, I'm hoping for 50 - 55 mins, which will be healthily under my previous best time over 10k.

Really looking forward to it now.
