OK, so I've trawled what's left of my music collection and I've come up with ten albums that I always listen to every moment of, which are:
Robert Wyatt - Rock Bottom
Moby - Play
Massive Attack - Mezzanine
Natacha Atlas - Diaspora
Roy Harper - Stormcock
Bongwater - Double Bummer (double album, counts as two?)
Residents - Duck Stab/Buster & Glen
Babes in Toyland - Peel Session (may only count as a half)
Catherine Wheel - Chrome
The Breeders - Last Splash
Not the evanescence album I mentioned, by the way: I had a look at it and there's at least two I skip if I play that.
I could've put the last Robert Wyatt album in there but I've only had that a few days so that shouldn't count.
Not all of these would make it into my Fave Twenty Albums Ever, by the way, but that wasn't what you asked.
By the way - in trawling the collection I was struck by how long it is since I listened to Stormcock. It may have been twenty years, so I listened to it again. Is that my favourite album ever? Possibly.
Here's a bit, in two parts cos it's longer than youtube allows:
