he had a horrific squad, bottom of the table.

We needed a "bastard" to come in and shake things up.

And to be fair IMHO it worked to soem extent.

I think he actually improved the squad overall.

he invested money in quality CBs (Dejan and Kennedy)
(both got injured as we know)
Never really had a quality striker all season apart from Lita.
Given a decent squad I think Roeder would have done OK IMHO........ too many injuries led to too many losses.
Thats when the finger pointing starts.

If you are winning you can be the biggest dick in the world and everyone will forgive you.
