Martin Allen might soon be available to be our new boss

'A League One football boss nicknamed Mad Dog dropped his trousers and paraded around a bar during a night out - just two days before his team were relegated. Cheltenham Town manager and former West Ham star Martin Allen, 43, was barred from the pub for "behaving in a rowdy manner". Staff at The Salisbury, in Cheltenham, Gloucs, said he first took his shirt off and danced on stage. He later dropped his trousers by the bar and shuffled up towards the dancefloor.

'Manager Kirsty Wiseman, 38, said workers calmed Allen down - only for him to resume his antics. She said: "He started to unzip his trousers as if to taunt us, so I said, 'Enough is enough - you're out'." The incident happened during a staff party late last month, two days before Cheltenham dropped into League Two after a 1-1 draw at home with Carlisle United. A club spokesperson said: "Martin Allen would like to apologise for any offence caused by his actions. It was simply a bit of high-jinks at the end of an enjoyable evening"
