He struggled, made some errors, had some almost forced on him through injury.

Losing Wes and croft ruthlessly exposed the lack of depth in the current squad.
Having Bertrand AND Drury injured for Charlton was tough too.
That limited his options, we saw what happened to Lappin went he went LB early in the second half.

He may come good, with a bit of time to actually build a proper squad, rather than gamble on loons to improve us short term.

However, its a BIG may, and i'm far from convinced we can take the risk of an inexperienced manager. I'd rather have a steady hand in charge, even if that hand isn't a massive name.
