Gunny was hired on the 21st

Carney, Leijer, Gow and Killen all came within the mid-season transfer window (a window that was extended till Feb the 2nd this year)

most deals only ever seem to be done at the end of the windows (or that's the way it seems to me), Gunny would've known the squad pretty well already - plus he did have some involvement in player recruitment already, at least to the extent that he should be aware of who may or may not be available
