What can we do?

1. Appoint someone with footballing expertise to the board - preferably someone who's already done a demonstrably good job as CEO somewhere else.

2. Leave it to him to sift through managerial applications; do not allow Delia or MWJ a vote on who becomes manager. Why should they have a say, when they don't understand football?

3. Slash the non-footballing wage bill, and stop ridiculous excesses like five full time press officers!

4. Put pressure on Smith and Jones to change their conditions for someone to buy them out; especially their idea that they can control how a future owner runs the club. I think they expect any new buyer to run NCFC in their image; but their image is what got us into this mess in the first place.

5. Throw the kitchen sink at finding a new buyer. It's not just Ipswich who managed it. If Peterborough United and MK Dons found benefactors able to fund their rise, so sure as heck should we be able to, credit crunch or no.
