Not sure I agree at all.

The club needs a huge shake up in terms of our overall wage structure so we can move forward.
The club needs to be committed to giving OUR players experience rather than loans.
This can reep future dividends by having value to sell if the bigger clubs come sniffing.
This can then build a squad thus creating value.

If we stayed near the bottom of the champs its almost certain nothing would have changed except our debt would gradually gotten larger with overpaid players and loanees.

Also our situation might encourage investment from someone smelling a fire sale by Delia and MWJ.

The above things could only be possible with relegation IMHO.
