This is one of the many arguments I don't get

How can a season in the Premier League be the problem when we emerged from it better off than when we went in?
The basic problem seems to me to have been acting on ludicrously high expectations of the money to be made from property development and spending ourselves into massive debt as a result.
We compounded that by paying ludicrously high wages to the likes of Hughes and Jarrett who were manifestly not of second division quality.
The current excuse, which was trotted out by Munby yesterday is that it is all the fault of the last two managers? How so? We first ran out of money in January 2006.
And did anyone else find it both ludicrous and insulting that Doncaster - of all people - should go on the radio and suggest that someone else at the club had to pitch for their job?
