Hmm.
Preston and Burnley, ran on two of the smallest budgets in the Championship, and both in play off's. Thats players wages and transfers.
AND Preston have got a half decent ground as well.
Leeds, into admin and beyond last season, no proverbial pots to piss in, -15 points, team of kids and cast off's, made the play off's, have done the same this season.
Luton, f**ked over God knows how many times, went down fighting, will probably walk all over the Conference next season, still had the team and team spirit to win the JP Trophy this time round.
Exeter City, down and out of the league, huge financial problems at the time, resorted to gimmicks with Uri Geller and Michael Jackson, have now won two successive promotions and will be playing us next season as equals! You say "little old Norwich" in earshot of Exeter Delia, and they'll laugh you out of the county.
Doncaster Rovers-how to over achieve. One of the teams of the season IMHO. Well done to Donny-we should be now aspiring to do what they have done!
List goes on and on.
But not having any money is NOT the reason and not an excuse Delia. These clubs, and others, have significantly proved otherwise. I suspect because they are ran as FOOTBALL clubs.
