Just back from Charlton, via the pub and a bbq.

Bertrand got a groin injury Friday, and Drury got crocked by one of the kids in training, so we had no left backs. That?s the only excuse I can offer them.

The response to the crowd cheering that Barnsley were losing was to for half the team to stop trying. Twenty minutes later we were three down.

All I can say about our performance was that it was a complete shambles. If some of the players cared as much as the fans today, we might have come away with out pride intact. But they didn?t care, and when we told them so, they pampered little egos didn?t like it.

Some second half huffing and puffing counted for nothing as the game was over. We needed players who would play when it counted and not when it didn?t, and at three down some cheap effort was worth f-all.

I thought I?d seen one of the lowest points at Craven Cottage four years ago, but the first half today beats that easily. Damien Francis and David Bentley were s**t at Fulham but would both would looked like demi gods compared to what those tossers served up today.

I was quite prepared for relegation today, but to capitulate in that spineless manner was unacceptable.
