I strongly spoke out against the loans policy in the summer and got precious little support when I said our team was falling apart and that it was no way to build for the future.
Looks like I was right after all. We now have a thin squad that will get even thinner once the summer firesale kicks in.
There will be no money to rebuild and we'll be forced to rely on a youth team that has proven itself only capable of producing non league talent.
The only answer to our current problems is fresh investment and new ideas.
This isn't about being able to compete with Man Utd and Liverpool or even Wolves or Birmingham. This is about not getting relegated for the second successive season.
Delia needs to go now, wait a few months and it will be too late to save next season.
