Worst in 40 years?

I work with a lot of City fans in town, and they havn't been any happier this season than me! (NUFC fan)
You can draw a lot of simularites between the two clubs - loyal supporters who deserve better, too many managers in recent years and heading in the wrong direction. Sorry about today, however I'm told the last time you were in Div 3 (ouch!) was way back in 1960. So with that in mind, is this the worst team / managment in the last 40 years? or do u think Delia and Gunny will turn it arround?
