I suppose so. The problem was more that it undermined Roeder's swaggering arrogance

about his loan policy. You can't be that dismissive of any criticism of your loan policy when you're bringing in players that turn out to be nowhere near good enough to play in the bottom third of the second tier (who scouted him, or decided to sign?) - so bad in fact that they can't be played even when there are no fit alternatives.
