Really? Even in history?

Coz I reckon the history A Level I was teaching on teacher training was harder than the one I took in 94 (think it was 94). Did you do a personal project at A Level? They strike me as being similar to the sort of thing you would be expected to do at uni and historic skills are historic skills whether you are degree, A Level or GCSE standard.

(BTW I do think the whole A Level thing is a bit dodgy but I'm not convinced the standard of the actual exams has gone down 'that' much.)
