Boothroyd

A friend who used to be employed by Watford and is on good terms with Boothroyd told me in the days leading up to Gunny's appointment that Boothroyd had said "the job's mine".

Clearly I thought that person must have been mistaken once Gunny got the job, and said no more about it. But the conversation stuck with me and 'that person' isn't one for embellishment.
