the players are, ultimately, to blame for our position.

The board / management are hardly to blame for conceding 2 late goals to Soton; for not turning up at Blackpool & Donny (first half); for spurning good chances at St Mary's or getting sent-off two mins before an equaliser cost us 2 more precious points.

Agreed the board over-pay the precious little darlings, but they bear the ultimate repsonsibility; over-paid mid-table stragglers I can stomach, over-paid relegation fodder I can't.
