I like both personally (to the extent I have spoken with them, which I have at some length in both cases but only very rarely) and I think Doncaster's genuine openness and accessibilty to the fans does him enormous credit.
However, both have played key roles in the calamities of the last few years. In any other walk of life the Chairman and Chief Exec would be long gone.
I don't have the animus against Delia some do, though I think she lacks the cojones to take hard decisions when they need to be taken. I'd be happy if she stayed, but with better leadership of the Board by the new chairman and better decision making by the new CEO.
