Actually .....

.....Sheepshanks did the deal .....though Norwich Union sold the debt.....but Marcus Evans approached the club . Evans was not a fan and had looked at a number of other clubs . Norwich Union sold the debt at 20p in the ? and that made the deal very attractive.

I have no doubt that Evans wants to get Ipswich into the Premiership and then sell the club and make a handsome profit !
