You'd hope it would be the kick up the arse required to

completely overhaul the team, club, youth system etc but reading Bigfella's excellent synopsis below I've come to the conclusion that it wont make any difference.
I suspect that administration is the only thing to shake this club up. I doubt it will be long coming
