A telling thing for me is the Rioch/Hamilton years co-incided with a bit of a forced break for me.
I moved out of home for the first time, and simply could not afford an ST, or many casual tickets.

I think missing a large chunk of that time has probably influenced my level of support for the club.

As soon as I could afford an ST I got the chance to take my seat up again next to my mate in place of his brother, and i went back.
That season we got to cardiff.
After, essentially, losing touch with the club a bit after the sacking of Walker (which had really f**ked me off) I came back at the start of a good period.
I do wonder now if that has caused me to offer more support than I would have had i sat through those few seasons too.
