we had been totally s**t before that it was a pretty good spell.

But I agree, the guy got way too personal.
He let personal differences cloud his judgements.

My point was should we have gone for a "tougher"manager than Gunn in hindsight?

I admit I actually thought Gunns appointment was decent, maybe I was totally wrong.
