If you think the 'unswerving loyalty' will continue I'd be prepared for a shock.
Clingan's value will go down with the teams status (and who are you going to replace him with, youngsters as understudys but I certainly wouldn't go into the season relying on them to produce.
Gunn's done his best and helped to unite everyone after the 'Roeder Guide to Public' relations and we should all thank him for that but its time to get a 'full time' manager. Failure to win auto promotion will be catastrophic for the future of the club.
The 'long term' value of the club will diminish the longer we are out of the top two Leagues. Our only real asset is the land on which the ground is build (which will have fallen due to present financial circumstances), the club still has ?20m+ secured debts that I will guarantee the banks will want paid back, all this with a fall in income. Even Deila's precious Canary Catering will be hit badly as gates fall (I can't see many away teams bringing 1500+ fans to fill the away section so that will also impact on income.
