Well worth it.

Completely different feel to the Wire but it does the whole examination of who's good and who's bad very well - you can end up questioning your own values over the course of the whole series as you see the way the characters develop (or disintegrate).
And like I say, I was hooked from the end of the first episode.
Can pick the sets up cheap now on Amazon, i think
