The glass half full scenario

A friend of mine who lives in Taunton but is City through and through e mailed me to say that he considered us to be doomed.

My reply was as follows.

Malcolm, I said, for that is his name, see it this way. Barnsley lose to Wolves, Plymouth lose to Kue Pee Arr, Forest lose to Blackpool and we beat Reading. Then we only need a point from Charlton as whatever the result of PLymouth v Barnslay, we stay up.

Meanwhile, at Scumville, Keane is allowed to spend many of Evans' millions on trash. (I do not, for obvious reasons, agree with assessments about Craig Gordon being dodgy by the way, but that's beside the point).

Clegg queries Keane's transfer methods. Said Keane gets the hump and walks. Evans, several millions lighter does the same leaving the Scum deep in dogs**t.

That, Malcolm, I said, and I also say to the ladies and gentlemen of the WOTB, is what will happen and when it does I shall laugh like a drain.
