What is the point of sacking Magilton now?

The new manager is unlikely to be in place until the last game.

So he probably gets one game to look at the players, surely he could learn more from watching videos of the games.

compassionate leave.
Pretty scummy think to do.

You could understand somewhat if they are desperate for results but they have meaningless games left.

Any quality manager thinking about taking the job is going to see this and think "is this the kind of club I want to work for?"
