and, perhaps, save you a few hundred quid. The really good ones cost hundreds of thousands a year; but they'll potentially save you (well, companies at any rate) millions a year. OG is right, most of these schemes are entirely legal although deliberately done to avoid paying tax while continuing to have enjoy easy access to the local market (eg. Google routes much of it's UK earnings through Ireland to avoid about 14.5% tax). Companies like this, though, are determined to pay as little tax as possible. Unlike OG they care little for the "social contract" and have one aim only: to maximise profits in any way possible.
