They say if the fish kept it's mouth shut it wouldn't have been caught, but some people are just like fish and can't keep their mouths closed, and they not only get themselves into trouble, but also their loved ones.

A true example is Andrei Arshavin's wife Yulia; whom has tagged Londoners "dirty and scruffy" on the player's website. She also expressed her "disgust" of English food and dislike for English beer. On fact she can't stand the English, with the interesting exception made to Victoria Beckham.

"I like her very much," she said. "I admire her style in clothes, her manners. I like the way she is always being talked about.
"She doesn't hide behind her husband's back and I like that, too.

"I remember watching a TV report where Victoria was walking across an airport terminal with one kid in her hands and another following her? she managed to look just smashing."

Otherwise, Yulia says she wanted to go to Spain or stay in Russia, because England to her is "too boring", and that she feels homesick already, less than a week after she had arrived in London. "I do not particularly like England ," she said. "In my opinion, people there are too reserved and it's dull."

Last May, Yulia was visiting Manchester, and back then she declared: "I do not like English cuisine.

"If Andrey goes to play in England, finding the right food may turn into a problem."
