staying up or going down its obvious that next year......

we are having a clear out of a few of the more expensive contracts.
Plus far fewer loan players.
I expect Tom Adeyemi, Korey Smith, Rudd, Spillane and Martin to be a big part of the first team squad.

If you have no money then your only shot is developing young players or taking a chance on non-league players like Cody McDonald.

I cannot see Marshall, Croft and Clingan staying if we go down.
Hopefully we can get a decent fee for Clingan and Marshall.
Knowing our board they probably have some silly release clause that lets them go on the cheap if we are relegated.

The reason we are in the mess we are in is the board approved a wage structure of overpaying average/mediocre players that would not command those kind of wages elsewhere.
We could have brought in 20 Cody McDonalds for the money pissed away on loans and crazy wages and agent fees.

I think a few teams will look at US, Charlton and Southampton and realize that overpaying for players NOT good enough for the prem is madness longterm.

I think Southampton realized this season pretty early they were in trouble and turned to the kids to (a) cut cost but (b) give them experience because they knew they are the future.

I predict Cullum buys the club in a fire sale.
